If you're here, it probably means you're interested in joining Wolfstory, which is great! We're happy to have you! But first, please finish reading what's below so that you know what you're getting into.
First time applicants, you must look over all designated mandatory reading pages, which include the following: Game Mechanics, Rules & FAQ, Cast of Characters, and Religion. It might seem like a lot of reading, but it's necessary for you to understand how to behave and how to roleplay while participating in WS.
We love diversity - feel free to make your character trans, gay, intersex, developmentally or physically disabled, mentally ill, or any combination thereof, as long as you can realistically and respectfully pull it off. Do your research, be considerate, and most importantly do not use slurs to describe your character. In Wolfstory, trans and non-binary genders as well as non straight romantic & sexual orientations are normalized and accepted.
When deciding your character's name, we ask that you don't choose anything obviously taken from an anime, a TV show, a book, etc. We don't want any wolves named Kiba or Larka. If you post a thread with a name like that, we'll ask you to change it. For your character's physical description, please don't link us to a picture. Instead, give us a sentence or two. You can use the picture on your profile, we just don't want it in the application itself.
For the sake of realism, we ask that you keep your character's appearance something that would be possible for real world wolves to look like. This means no flaming orange wolves, no wolves with purple or blue eyes, no wolves with saberteeth, etc.
